Rotogravure Packaging Printing

Rotogravure printing technique is one of the basic printing techniques used in packaging printing. The content to be printed with the technique which means hollow printing or deep printing as Turkish word, is first processed on a metal layer by etching method. Printing ink is then poured onto this metal. This spilled ink fills the pits created by etching and pressure is applied by placing the material to be printed on this layer. As a result, the ink in the hollow sections passes on the material to be printed. In new generation devices, this abrasive metal surface may have a cylindrical structure. In this type of printing, solvent, water and pigment-based low-density inks are used.
